| Located in Berlin, Connecticut,
the Mattabassett Rifle and
Pistol Club was founded in 1959 by Henry S. Baldyga. On December 21st, 1966 the club was incorporated. The club's name was derived from the American Indian Tribe that inhabited the Berlin and Farmington areas. The illustration on the club's emblem is a Mattabassett Indian as depicted in the records of the New Britain, Connecticut Library. |
